Notes from the Underbelly... part 2

Today was Parker's 6 month check up that I have an awkward relationship with. I hate it with a passion loathe it because it means Parker is going to get shots that hurt and I don't like to see him cry, but I also LOVE to see how he is growing and thriving. Here are the stats of today's appointment:
Weight 17 lbs. 2.9 oz (39th percentile)
Height 26.5 inches (51st percentile)
Head circumference 17.25 inches (47th percentile)
Yikes... the other day my mom, sister (and I guess me since I showed up) took the kids, TJ, Mya, Parker and Ty, to get pictures taken. Parker's head next to Tyson's looked HUGE!! Now I guess I know why. Back in December his head was in the 14th percentile.. practically teeny. At his last appointment he was in the 26th percentile and now he's up to the 47th. That must mean he's growing a lot of brains and he's going to be a smart cookie... at least I hope!
Some other information from the appointment is that Parker does have eczema which we long suspected but now it is confirmed. He got a prescription for a higher strength steroid cream rather than just hydro cortisone like we were using.
You might also remember that about a month ago Parker had his first ear infection. Well come to find out (and now I feel like a horrible mom for not knowing) he STILL has it. Same ear and everything. He has had little to no fevers and has shown no signs of it bothering him that I noticed but I still feel bad that I didn't know. When Dr. Kim put the ear tool (for lack of knowing the name) Parker got upset so I know it must somewhat hurt him. I guess he's a trooper and doesn't like to admit when he's sick.
Overall he did as best as can be expected with shots, screamed at first, whimpered on the way home, ate a bottle and now hm and Aaron are crashed out on our bed, hence me having a little time to blog!
